The Finance Department is responsible for the accurate recording of revenues and expenditures of all county funds according to generally accepted accounting principles. The Department effectively and efficiently safeguards and manages the County’s financial resources, and ensures that adequate resources are available. It is also responsible for the financial reporting of the utilization of all county funds to operating departments, County management, the public and other government agencies. This is accomplished through the following functions: annual budget development and monitoring, general ledger integrity maintenance, debt management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and asset record maintenance.
