Environmental Awareness Poster Contest

 2018 NACD Poster Contest Winners!

The Fond du Lac County Land Conservation Committee offers an opportunity for students to share their conservation thoughts through their artwork.  Whether in an urban setting or a rural landscape, conservation has many pictures.  The Environmental Awareness Poster Contest is open to all Fond du Lac County students and can be used to develop students' awareness of Wisconsin's natural resources.

This year's theme was "Watersheds:  Our Water, Our Home"  and highlights how watersheds are an invaluable asset to our communities. There were 173 entries this year.  The first place entries went on to compete in the regional competition earlier this month.  The winning poster form the 7th through 9th grade division placed 2nd at regionals.  The winning poster from the 4th through 6th grade division went on to win first place at regionals and will continue on to state competition in March. Congratulations to all of our winners!
